comprising a gilt 12lb cannon ball loosely set on an octagonal base impressed overall with ship's punch lettering inscribing the quote: ADM LORD NELSON / THANK GOD I HAVE DONE MY DUTY, the sides further inscribed for the centenary and the names and dates of Victory's principal actions: Ushant, 1778; Ushant, 1781; Cape Spartel, 1782; Hyeres Isle, 1795; Cape St. Vincent, 1797; and Trafalgar, 1805, the final panel inscribed Centenary of the battle of TRAFALGAR 1805 -1905, with moulded edging -- 6½in.
