After Edward Francis McCartan (1879-1947). A pair of Art Nouveau bronze candlesticks, modelled as nude children holding aloft amphora on fluted circular bases, signed with Copyright stamp, height 16.75in.
CONDITION: Both with good rich chocolate brown patination, quality of the casting is a little more poor most notably around the wax pans, boy figure is perhaps slightly bent out of shape where it joins the base or possibly just slightly mis-cast.
