Two 19th century, likely French, snuff or powder boxes, comprising an ebony box and cover, of circular form, having intricate pin pique mosaic decoration depicting flowers with flying insects including bees, moths, butterflies and a dragonfly to the top and base, with brass liner, 8.5cm diameter, and a oval tortoiseshell box with white metal mounts, 4.5 by 9 by 3cm high.
