A pair of Chinese famille rose Canton vases, 19th century, each of baluster form and decorated with reserves of figures in a pavilion, flora and fauna, against a gilt ground, and mounted with Chilongs and Dogs of Fo, with flared petal shaped rims, 36cm high (2) (at fault)
Each vase with multiple chips to the rim and accompanying hairline cracks and crazing. Pitting and fritting is present throughout but more so to the interiors. Wear to the decoration and surface can be seen with general surface scratches and gilt wear.
