A CHINESE LONGQUAN CELADON TWIN FISH DISH WITH FOUR CHARACTER MARK, YUAN DYNASTY OR LATER. Thickly potted rounded body and everted rim with ribbed lotus petal body and two fish in relief to the interior. Four character mark to base, covered in an olive green glaze. 13cm diam.

Good overall condition with no signs of damage or repairs. Provenance: Property of Dennis Young, son to Sir Mark Aitchison Young GCMG (1886-1974) who served as Governor of Hong Kong between 1941 and 1947, thence by descent.
