A FREDERICK SAGE & CO STADIUM DISPLAY CABINET, this piece is a fine example of balancing elegance and utility from the renowned fitting company Frederick Sage & Co. of London. They had clients such as Harrods and the British Government. The cabinet is circa 1900 (the attached ivory maker’s mark of F. Sage & Co, London is lacking Ltd which suggests it is pre 1905). The curved glass cabinet has a drop down hatch to the back so that items can be placed with ease, raised on a pair of side pods with turned and fluted supports united by a stretcher. In over all very good condition; the glass has some marks/scratches etc. commensurate with age and use. 52 x 25 x 38 inches approximately.
