ALGERIA - RARE PLATE 9 ½d ROSE-REDS ON PRINTED MATTER FROM "BUTE DOCKS" (WALES); 16 May 1872 front (central vertical fold) to "Philippeville, Algerie" with a pair of Plate 9 ½d Rose-reds (LH stamp with wrinkle and trimmed perfs at left) tied by fair/fine "BUTE DOCKS/D57" duplexes. The stamps have "CORY/C" perfins and the wrapper's imprint was "BOOK POST/CORY BROTHERS & CO.'S COAL, COKE & FREIGHT REPORT", hence the perfins.
