£880
Good George III mahogany 8 day longcase clock, the 11" arched dial signed 'Pridgin, Hull', with a silvered chapter ring and calendar aperture on a matte brass ground with foliate spandrels, the case with shell paterae and a pillared hood surmounted by ball and spike finials, 92" high (with pendulum, two weights and winding key)
The clock was situated in the main living room and appears in nice clean condition with a light mahogany patina restored some years back, the long door is a probably replacement but has been professionally done. Although not set up, the clock we have been advised was in working order in the property, although this offers no guarantee as to working order, some historical crack repairs as expected, with a pair of brass capped weights (one back of the weights requires re-attachment). See additional images for guidance.
