Montgomery states that we are suffering " a twilight of the spirit" and a "weakness from within" - "we live in an age of computers; but you cannot put leadership and guts into a computer !" - "What the country needs is a 'big' man of real stature" - "But I do not see him in any political party - at present" The letter is signed and on headed paper glazed and framed with a photo of the recipient on his tank.
