A British naval officer’s sword, late 18th/early 19th century. With a lion's head pommel, white ivory grip bound with rope twisted metal wires, the curved single fullered blade partially decorated with blued steel. 76.5 cm length of blade.
Condition report: Some age related wear as illustrated. Chape detached from the scabbard. Please also note that a self declaration has been made in relation to the ivory content. CITES reference number: 2B3A51XH . Registration expires when the owner of the item changes.
