A late 18th century brass barrelled flintlock blunderbuss pistol, 12” overall, swamped barrel 6” with early B’ham or Tower private proofs; stepped lock with safety bolt, swan neck cock and roller on frizzen spring, the plate engraved at a later date “Jones”; walnut fullstock with plain rounded butt; brass trigger guard engraved with an oval medallion and with acorn finial; and brass tipped ramrod with iron worm.
