A pair of Chinese Canton enamel vases, second half 19th century, the shoulders with applied gilt chilong above a band of three bats, the neck and body painted with numerous butterflies, 15.5cm

More Information

One vase has a chip on the rim and a splice chip on the top of the rim. The other vase has tiny glaze nibbles on the rim. Both appear to be free from any obvious cracks or restoration. The legs of the insects on both vases are faded.
