They are all porcelain. The wire is passed through a false bottom and then through the hollow of the base. No drill holes. Shades in o overall good condition no visible signs of damage or repair, surface wear to gilt area around handles and tip of base, unravelling of fabric around cables, height including shade 65cm approx excluding 63cm to top if fitting
