MOSQUITOES IN DINOSAUR AGED BURMESE AMBER
This clear amber gem contains three large mosquito fossils alongside multiple other insects.Mosquito remains in amber are highly uncommon compared to fungus gnats. This specimen is exceptionally well-detailed. Polished to a fine grade.
From the amber mines of Kachin, Myanmar. Cretaceous in age, circa 100 million years old.
