Fergal studied at the National College of Art, Dublin under the late Henry Healy RHA, Des Carrick RHA and John Coyle RHA. He has been painting full time since 1986. He paints mainly in oils and Gouache but also uses pastels, alkyd, watercolour and pencil. He paints mainly the landscape, seascape and urban scenes using bright colours. His work is shown in many galleries throughout Ireland. He has had 6 major exhibitions in his career reflecting the places he has visited, which are worldwide.
