A Japanese Satsuma Spring festival cylindrical vase, Meiji period, painted with a man carrying a large noh mask on his back with a procession of children and other figures following in a mountainous river landscape with pavilions and plum blossom, two character signature to the base, 23.4cm high
Minor wear to the gilding on the rim around the edge of the foot, occasional minor scratch, slight staining to the base underneath otherwise in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks detected.
