Knife: an interesting example of the controversial WSC 3 knife (Wilkinson Sword Company - Code 3 for W.S.Co.). The blade used is from an 1888/1903 Bayonet with an oversized 'Fat Boy' 2nd Pattern type knurling grip. Thick 'S' crossguard 3". D/E blade 7" with square ricasso marked 'W.S.C. 'over '3'. The reverse ricasso marked '61' over '1903'. The knurled grip is 5.25" long. The smooth pommel bears the number '30946' in very small figures. A number '40' has been stamped into the knurling of the grip. Rare and unusual
