A 19th Century Tekke/Shahsavan kilim Khorjin (tribesman's bag), with unusual strips of pile weave banding, with replaced fastening loops, 83cm x 46cm.
NB - Khorjin are often referred to a saddle bags, but this would be unable to fit over an animal. They were used as shoulder bags for tribesmen.
Replacements and repairs throughout.
