Fine quality 19th century Irish Killarney wood and marquetry games table, the top centred with and oval panel depicting Muckross Abbey, flanked by foliage, hinged swivel top revealing a backgammon and chess board, raised upon an octagonal tapering and bulbus column, quatre form base and claw feet, 32 x 31 x 16" deep. 33" wide when fully extended. Provenance: Purchased at the Ashford Castle Cong, Co. Mayo auction 1939.
