A PRUSSIAN IMPERIAL INFANTRY OFFICER'S 1889 PATTERN SWORD AND SCABBARD. With a 85 cm pointed single edged blade with double fuller, with unusual special order hilt. The folding guard with Prussian eagle, matt gilt with polished highlights, the eagle on both sides of the guard, with wire bound black bakelite grip with attached FWR monogram. The pommel and knuckle bow with high relief leaf decoration. In black painted scabbard with single ring suspension. 102 cm overall.
