A rare Edward VIII Foot Guards 1854 pattern officer's sword of the Coldstream Guards, blade 32½", by Wilkinson Sword, number 65600, etched with crown over ERVIII", regimental badge, sphinx over "Egypt", multiple battle honours in scrolls on one side and tablets on the other, with owner's initials "J.W.M-T", with plated regulation pattern hilt incorporating the regimental badge and wire bound fish skin covered grip, in its plated steel scabbard.
