A LATE VICTORIAN WALNUT AND INLAID WRITING SLOPE AND A VICTORIAN BRASS BOUND BURR WALNUT WRITING SLOPE, the smaller slope with metal, ebony and ivory inlay, simulated rosewood interior with velvet slope and ivory knop handle, width 35.5cm, the larger slope width 50.5cm (2) (Condition Report: the smaller slope has wear to the ebonised areas and the velvet interior, the larger slope has a gap between lid and base, some loss around lock IMPORTANT NOTE, The smaller writing slope in this lot contains elephant ivory material.
