A George IV memorial documentary jug, early 19th century, of hexagonal lobed form, printed to one side with a portrait of the King, to the other with "TO THE MEMORY OF HIS LATE MAJESTY KING GEORGE THE IV BORN AUG. 12 1762. ASCENDED THE THRONE JANY 29 1820; [...] DEPARTED THIS LIFE JUNE 26 1830 AGED 68 YEARS", and under the spout with the Royal cypher, all against a washed pink ground with pink lustre bands to the rim and foot rim, 16.5cm high, with nine further pink lustre jugs and mugs of various sizes to include pearlware examples (10)

The George IV jug shows a chip to the base, some stained crazing to the interior, and wear to the surface throughout including extensive wear to the lustre finish around the rim.

The other pieces in the lot show various small chips and losses, surface wear throughout, the odd hairline crack and varying degrees of crazing.
