Feb 1936 envs (5) flown on the 1st London to Kano flight inc. a test letter, one "unclaimed", another which missed the 1st flight but was posted on the 2nd. 16 Feb 1936 card from Germany flown on the 1st service from Khartoum to Kano. 1936 Oct env from Greece thence by feeder service to Khartoum to connect with the 1st feeder service to Lagos. 2 Dec 1937 1st flight card from Brussels to Minna returned to Belgium. 1939 env. via air/sea from USA to Calabar. 1941 env registered from Hong Kong to Calabar via the "horseshoe" route. 1942 env from Madras to Karachi by Tata Airways, Karachi to Cairo & Khartoum thence by the horseshoe route to Lagos by BOAC.
