An antique yellow metal mememto-mori brooch/pendant, (tests as 14-15ct gold), of domed oval form, centrally set with an oval cabochon ruby 'coloured' stone set to the top with a Victorian cut diamond flanked by two rose-cut diamonds in eight-point star frame, the reverse of the brooch with removeable oval glass 'hair relic' panel, with gold safety-pin and chain, 45x30mm.
