A late 19th century Meissen porcelain figure group of mother and child, standing on her lap holding scrolling foliate trumpet, the base decorated with birds and insects in flight, crossed sword mark to the base, 28cm high.

This piece appears to have previously been a candlestick, which has been filled in, and there is a large fireing crack, otherwise the condition appears to be good.
