Heavily modified 1964 Guild D-40 acoustic guitar, made in USA; Back and sides: mahogany, hairline splits to back, plugged holes to bass hand shoulder, further marks and wear; Top: replacement spruce top with herringbone banding, hairline splits to bass side upper bout and below the bridge; Neck: reset neck with reshaped head, general wear to back of neck; Fretboard: replacement ebony board; Frets: minor wear; Electrics: EMG sound hole pickup wired through the end pin with additional transducer under bridge pickup; Hardware: generally good, later fitted Schaller tuners; Case: contemporary Martin hard case; Weight: 2.32kg; Overall condition: fair
