The Sèvres porcelain circular dial with Roman chapters and floral design beside a finely modelled figure of the muse Euterpe, seated, reading a book. Designed with overall gilt & Sèvres porcelain plaques depicting flowers, birds & a cherub. Circa 1873. Stamped PH Mourey 73 on back and Japy Freres & Cie on movement backplate. Clock no. 18 out of 30 - stamped on back. CLOCKS AND BAROMETERS
