An 1822 pattern sword with an 80cm pointed, fullered blade decorated with a grenade and artillery piece, and 'Artillery Volunteer. The blade marked for Simmons Brothers Cockspur Street, Pall Mall, London. The handle with three bar guard and wire wound shagreen grip.
