A worksplate, ARMSTRONG WHITWORTH, 1441, 1937, from a LMS Class 5 4-6-0 No 5386 which became BR 45386. It spent most of its BR days at Barrow and Speke Junction with a final brief stay at Lostock Hall from where it was withdrawn in August 1968 and sold for scrap to Drapers at Hull. Cast brass, 8¼"x5", the front lightly cleaned. (Postage Band: B)
