A rare Jumeau phonograph, with bisque socket head, blue glass fixed eyes, open mouth, moulded teeth, pierced ears, blond wig, wood and composition jointed body, internal clockwork mechanism, original clothing and shoes, 25" long, red TETE JUMEAU mark to back of neck numbered 11, Bebe Jumeau mark to body, in original Bebe Jumeau Phonographe box, with original internal and external labelling, four reels of music with the doll (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)

More Information

Generally good, no damage visible on head. One very minor chip to ear piercing hole. Some wear to box, minor losses to lid.The phonograph mechanism winds and sets into motion with the pulling of the start lever. But the two wheels need a new rubber link (typical items to degrade being rubber). Due to the missing band I cannot fully test the sound/musical function, but the basic mechanism appears to work.
