State 4A 116x65mm env. printed on grey paper with mainsail inscription "AN[D]/OCEAN/PENNY/POSTAGE", the D of "AND" missing due to wear. State 4 117x69mm env. with mainsail inscription "AN/OCEAN/PENNY/POSTAGE", purposefully recut from "AND" to "AN" and enlarged. Both items unused, with adhesive and embossed flap. A good pair clearly displaying the changes between each State. (2 items) Cross Reference: PICTORIAL ENVELOPES - PRINTED
