black melton cloth, four panel crown. Pointed peak with brass edging. Rounded rear brim with leather edging. Rear brass spike, top cruciform with spike. Side brass rose head mounts with leather backed, brass chin chain. Tan leather and maroon silk sweatband. Internal crown with "Hawkes & Co" tailor's stamp. Exteriors with some moth damage.
