Books include written & pictorial miscellany of Victorian life to include poems (The muffled drum / The Land of Dreams / The Song of Death), phrases, thoughts, hand painted watercolour pictures (Hastings / Tintern Abbey), black & white / colour cut-outs (The Captive Slave / Le Sourire / Robert Burns / Oliver Cromwell). Both leather bound & one gilded. Largest measures 21.5cm x 26.5cm.
