A very interesting selection of items, about 30 having certificates, includes Belgium 1912 Railway Stamps, San Marino cancels on early Italian issues, Bangkok ovpts, Malaya, India with red Scinde Dawk and 8a fiscal with Official ovpt, HK, Rhodesia, GB 1939 10/- dark blue pair ovpt ''Cancelled'', Officials incl O.W. QV 10d that Michael Astley believed fake, 1902 2d, Jersey 1940 Swastika ovpt set, Transvaal £5 and some ovpts, Zanzibar, Zululand, Ceylon, Seychelles both ovpts and 'Mauritius used in' cancels, Br. Levant, KUT 1891 Mombassa provisional that Philip Kinns says is forged, also Patiala 1884 2a official (SG03) o.g. with RPS cert (1998) as 'genuine' (Cat £15,000), but together with opinion of Philip Kinns that it is in fact a forgery. Very useful reference material, the certificates alone for which would cost many hundreds to obtain. (R)
