A Chinese carved celadon-glazed Ruyi vase and cover Incised Qianlong seal mark but likely later Of lobed flattened 'ruyi' form, the domed cover and foot rim with ruyi apron, decorated overall in low relief carving with stylised bats above a musical chime or qing tied with ribbons and beads below a wan symbol, surrounded by lotus flowers and foliage, covered in a sea-green glaze. 26cm high Provenance:Private West Midlands collection, acquired in the Far East. Footnote:An identical vase was sold at Sotheby's Hong Kong rooms, Important Chinese Art, 3 October 2018, lot 3602. Condition:Very good overall condition with only negligible signs of age.
