A MILITARY MEDAL AND TRIO TO THE LIVERPOOL REGIMENT. A Great War group of four comprising Military Medal named to 1815 Pte A. Kelly 1/5th Lpool R. TF. 1914-15 Star named to 1815 Pte A. Kelly L.Pool R. War Medal and Victory Medal to Kelly as Serjeant. Alexander Kelly was born in Southport and served with the 1/5th Battalion of the King's Liverpool Regiment attached to the King's African Rifles. He also served with number 200280. In September he is recorded as unwell but has the record 'nothing abnormal detected', at this time he had served 2 years with the field force and was 20 years old. His Military Medal was awarded 'for bravery in the field' on the 8th December 1916, Gazette No. 29854. *CR Mounted court style, lightly cleaned. A lot fee of £8 inc.
