1786 OFFICIAL PRINTED DOCUMENT: Original document comprising 6 sides of approx. A4 laid paper entitled "Stamps. A Schedule of Duties on every Skin or Piece of Vellum, or Parchment, or Piece or Sheet of Paper, on which shall be engrossed, written, or printed, any of the Articles, Matters, or Things therein." There then follows a list of c.70 different items to which a tax would be applicable and the amount of the tax (ranging from 1d to £9). Ends with " Passed in the twenty-seventh year of the reign of His present Majesty King George the Third". Excellent condition.
