Autograph letter signed, Plymouth Dockyard, January 17th, 1702/3, concerning confirmation of receipt of an order from the Lord High Admiral to send ships from Plymouth to act as convoys for merchant vessels. Folio, 2 sides with integral blank (detached). With BARRINGTON, 2nd Viscount (1717-93), letter signed. War Office, 24th October 1760 to Colonel the Earl of Denbigh informing him that the Leicester Militia will relieve the Warwickshire Militia on November 14th 1760. Half a page on a folio sheet with integral blank. With ALFRED (1844-1900) Duke of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha, and fourth child of Queen Victoria, ALS to General Ponsonby, 11th July 1884, pleading the case of Lady Hall, whose late husband had rendered the admiralty great service. 2 sides on black-edged mourning stationery with integral blank. With a Treasury Warrant dated 18th December 1810 concerning raising seamen in Aberdeen. Folio, 2 sides with integral blank. (4)
