Autograph letter signed, Plymouth Dockyard, January 17th, 1702/3, concerning confirmation of receipt of an order from the Lord High Admiral to send ships from Plymouth to act as convoys for merchant vessels. War Office, 24th October 1760 to Colonel the Earl of Denbigh informing him that the Leicester Militia will relieve the Warwickshire Militia on November 14th 1760. With ALFRED (1844-1900) Duke of Saxe-Coburg & Gotha, and fourth child of Queen Victoria, ALS to General Ponsonby, 11th July 1884, pleading the case of Lady Hall, whose late husband had rendered the admiralty great service. 2 sides on black-edged mourning stationery with integral blank.
