PARIS POSTS c.1761-1834: Binder housing a collection of covers displaying a variety of Parisian postal markings inc. 1761 & 1775 ELs with hs postman's marks, trio of c.1771-74 ELs each with fine strikes of "Crown over P" (Yvert No. 204), 1789 EL from Boiscommun to Paris with black Fleur-de-Lys over "P.P." mark (Maury No. 433), trio of 1774/75 ELs with s/l black "PARee"marks (21mm x 5mm) with a difference in shape of "R" suggesting at least 2 different types exist (Yvert. No. 207); a group of 6 covers c.1805-1826 covers demonstrate a variety of "P" in triangle marks in red or black and later covers to 1834 display various types of "P.P.P.P.", "PORT-PAYE" and "P. PAYE PARIS" marks in red, blue or black. Mostly fine. (28 covers)
