Railway. Overseas Traction - ZIMBABWE. A good selection of working steam taken in Zimbabwe in 1980. There are approx. 270 x 35mm colour negatives, with associated colour 5" x 3.5" prints. The negatives have taken on a blue hue, the colour temperature of the negatives could be easily adjusted in your scanning software or similar photo application for a more neutral colour tone (see examples which have been easily colour corrected. nb. the examples are from the collection and not necessarily in the lot). These are whole films and there are a few non-railway subjects included. The count above does not include these. Some of the prints are missing. Captions are on the film packets and includes visits to sheds, works and lineside photographs. Locations noted: Bulawayo Station, West Nicholson Branch, Gwelo Branch, Selukwe Branch, Gwelo Shed, Wankie Colliery, Thomson Junction shed, Victoria Falls Station, Bulawayo Railway Museum and shed.
