Roman Imperial, Lucilla (164-169 AD) wife of Lucius Verus, AR Denarius, Rome mint, Concordia seated type, RIC 759, 3.49g, GVF, ex-M. Trenerry. Lucilla was the elder sister of Commodus. Said to have been jealous of his wife(!) Empress Crispina, she ordered two of her lovers to murder him as he entered a theatre in AD 182, an unsuccessful attempt, for which she was exiled to Capri and later executed.
