Japanese Wakizashi and scabbard, plain iron tsuba with 2 half moon holes, blade with small areas of light rust, handle binding is blackened, menuki either side with warrior mask, kashira with 3 bearded men design, scabbard with leaf pattern design, suspension rings missing, tape repair to bottom of scabbard, generally good fine, peg is stuck and will not be removed. The family story is that this was recovered from a fire at Blenheim Palace decades ago. BUYER MUST COLLECT. (See photo)
