A late Qing dynasty Chinese Daoist silk robe with lilac damask ground, elaborately decorated with gold couching depicting eight tetragrams, eight Taoist symbols and four Immortals. The decoration to the back having a central motif of Pagoda surrounded by twenty-eight gold discs, further decoration of three constellations discs, moon with hare as tenant, sun with red crow and Jui'I sceptres and bats.
