Naval General Service Medal 1847 with Algiers clasp, medal impressed to John May. However there is no John May entitled to this clasp. The medal has been removed from a swivel mount and restored. The disc was at one time gilt and someone has tried to remove this with acid giving the medal a strange appearance. Clasp appears genuine. Sold As Seen
