An early 17th century morion, 3 etched panels of Celtic strapwork on each side of skull tapering to pear stalk top, 14 studs on brass rosettes to base of skull, turned over edge to brim with etched scrolls fore and aft, later added simple scroll etching to sides of brim and similar eagles to each side of skull at the back.
