1532 - A prestigious disc award for the multi platinum selling album "Genius Love Company" by Ray Charles. This award was presented to Grahame Andrew the EMI promotions manager in recognition of over 100000 sales in the UK. This Ray Charles album was nominated for 10 Grammy awards in 2005 and won 9 of these in total including album of the year. This was an incredible achievement with the single track "here we go again" winning Grammy award for record of the year. This was the last album produced by Ray Charles due to his death in 2004.
