Late 18th Century Antique French faux tortoise shell jewellery casket / locking wooden box. With key, working lock and bronze embellishments. Approx 11 wide 7 tall and 8 inches deep with fabric lining. There is a little age related wear to the faux tortoise shell but very little and it still displays very well. This is a superb antique bombe form French antique worthy of a place in your heart.

We have added many more pictures of all over the box. There is a little bit of cracked veneer on the top with the odd small scratch too. Nothing major and all could be put right with a little work. Having said that, the box displays really well as it is. There ere some blemishes in other parts of the box too but again nothing much. Postage would be around £25 to most of the UK but possibly more dependent on the sale price as the cost of cover with the couriers will increase.
