WILLIAM DEMORGAN, 1872 - 1907, A LATE 19TH CENTURY EARTHENWARE LUSTRE GLAZED SQUARE TILE
In Persian flowerhead design, impressed mark in circle ‘DM98’, decorated Iznik Persian style scrolling foliage, florets and buds, on soft green and turquoise ground, impressed initials mark with the last two numerals of the year (possibly Fulham pottery example) by Joe Juster, brass mounted as a stand.
