A worksplate, NORTH BRITISH LOCOMOTIVE Co, HYDE PARK WORKS, 23270, 1925, from a LMS Class 4F 0-6-0 No 4073, which became BR 44073. A long time Mold Junction engine, it was withdrawn from there in November 1959 and scrapped at Mostyn Iron Works in North Wales. Cast brass, 8" diameter, a Hyde Park 1925 batch plate slightly smaller than those fitted to later batches. The front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
